Dance Me Figueres makes plaça Catalunya shine with 9th Hello Christmas
Dancers from the school of Sonia Navarro star a very emotional show to welcome the Christmas holidays
Dance Me, the dance school of Sonia Navarro, offered on Friday, December 21st, the traditional show to welcome the Christmas holidays: Hello Christmas. For the 9th year, the students of the school made Plaça Catalunya shine with a very emotional show, in front of thousands of people, friends and family.
The DME dancers, from the youngest to the oldest, presented the new choreographies of different styles of urban dance, which they had been working since the beginning of the school year. All the dancers showed a high level and gave off a lot of energy and attitude.
The most emotional part of the afternoon came with the final show. Before, however, the director of the school, Sonia Navarro, dedicated a few words to all the students and the public, with a recorded audio piece, in which she encouraged to believe in oneself and fight for one's dreams. She also wished a Merry Christmas and thanked everyone for being part of her dream.
With emotions running high, all Dance Me dancers gathered up and in front of the stage to dance a final choreography, proving that Hello Christmas is one of the most special performances of the year.
In addition, this year's performance was attended by the Mayor of Figueres, Jordi Masquef, who took the stage to dedicate a few words to all the children and families there.
